Vegan Ramen UZU Tokyo: Savor Vegan Ramen Within Cutting-Edge Art
Home to many of the world’s premier restaurants, Japan’s capital is the ultimate destination for passionate foodies. Out-of-the-box culinary experiences await you, showcasing the stories, customs and ethos of the people behind Tokyo’s award-winning drinking and dining traditions.
Ethereal and immersive, Vegan Ramen UZU Tokyo is a dining journey like no other. The restaurant opened in 2021 at the museum teamLab Planets, which was created by the art collective teamLab, whose installations are popular with art lovers across the globe. Every diner becomes a part of each hypnotic exhibit. The founders of UZU’s restaurant-art collaboration hoped to revive the ancient Japanese traditions of eating vegan cuisine, and thus experimented with natural ingredients and cooking methods to ultimately create an artfully clever vegan ramen.
The sumptuous plant-based ramen menu features two bowls exclusively available at the Tokyo location: a cold Flower Vegan Ramen topped with beautifully edible flowers and a Green Tea Vegan Ramen made with tea, kelp and shiitake mushrooms for a flavorfully rich broth.
