Professor Augustinus Bader and Victoria Beckham celebrated their recent skincare collaboration at an intimate dinner party.
With the recent launch of Victoria Beckham Beauty, fashion designer and former entertainer Victoria Beckham is adding another bullet point to her résumé: makeup and skincare guru. To celebrate Beckham’s latest accomplishments—including a “Woman Made” profile on violetgrey.com—Cassandra Grey and Lynda Resnick invited a powerhouse group to Resnick’s home for a private dinner. Guests including Melanie Griffith, Kim Kardashian West and Samantha Ronson were greeted with Champagne upon arrival, and enjoyed drinks and passed hors d’oeuvres as live piano music played in the background. A California-inspired dinner by chef Brian Edwards followed. Professor Augustinus Bader—who recently collaborated with Beckham on her first skincare product, Cell Rejuvenating Priming Moisturizer, available exclusively in Los Angeles at Violet Grey’s Melrose Place boutique—also attended. “Naturally, Victoria, the perfectionist she is, has crafted the most luxurious, clean and well-curated beauty line,” Grey says. “She was involved in every detail of its creation and you can tell—it’s flawless.”
