Pride 2022 is all about “With Liberty, Diversity, Inclusion and Progress for All.”
In fact, it’s the theme for this year’s WeHo Pride. The celebration offers a full 40 days of programming, offering Angelenos the opportunity to reflect on the past and toast to the future with events like the reading of Dear Harvey on Harvey Milk Day and the OUTLOUD Raising Voices Music Festival. For decades, West Hollywood has been home to one of the nation’s largest Pride celebrations, making it all the more special that the city will put on its inaugural WeHo Pride.
See the full lineup of programming below.
Formerly known as the One City One Pride LGBTQ Arts Festival, Pride celebrations officially kick off for 40 days on Harvey Milk Day. In commemoration, the festival will begin with a reading of the play Dear Harvey. Other highlights include the online exhibition “Queer Diasporas: Lavender City of Dreams;” interactive typewriter peotry project “Pride Poets;” “Pledge Allegiance to Your Flag! A Festival of LGBTQ+ Flags,” a social art intervention and Q Con, an LGBTQ comics convention. More information.
