As host of this year’s Super Bowl, a lot is going down for the big event. Whether you’re looking for some fun leading up to the big game or a proper spot to settle in for when the Rams take on the Bengals, we’ve got you covered on all the best events, spots and food take-out for a premier 2022 Super Bowl experience.

Pre-Game Festivities

All Star Comedy Jam

What’s the best way to kick off football’s biggest weekend? With a bit of comedy, of course. Hosted by DeRay Davis, All Star Comedy Jam returns to the Microsoft Theater on Feb. 10 and will feature Shaquille O’Neal, Bill Bellamy, Michael Blackson, Earthquake, Mo’Nique, Tip “T.I.” Harris, Tony Roberts and special guest DJ Spinderella.

Bloomingdales Tailgate Pop-Up

From Feb. 10-12, stop by the department store’s Century City location for the ultimate beauty and fashion experience. Brands like MAC and Estée Lauder will be on-site for game-day inspired beauty touch-ups and services, in addition to interactive visual displays inspired by tailgate essentials (but with a glamorous twist). Be sure to get in a round of cornhole or ping-pong for a chance to win beauty samples and grab some elevated game day snacks. Shoppers can also visit the Good American pop-up filled with the latest denim styles and, on Feb. 12, a coffee cart with complimentary lattes from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

House of Shea: The Ultimate Vibrational Experience

In partnership with Where Art Can Occur Theater Center, SheaMoisture is inviting Angelenos to their immersive public pop-up brand experience for a day of sports, entertainment and progressive thought. Panel discussions will feature top community leaders, including Ms. Tina Knowles-Lawson and other VIP guests, for discussions about cultures, inclusive progression in TV and film and mental health in the Black community. The event takes place in the Westfield Century City’s Atrium. Panels start at 12:30 p.m., with a tailgate watch party for Super Bowl to follow at 3 p.m.

L'Ermitage Luxury Tailgate

On Feb. 9, former NFL player and The Wine MVP founder Will Blackmon and Jordan Winery will team up for the ultimate luxury tailgate experience on the scenic L’Ermitage rooftop . Before a weekend of beer and bites, settle in for a special evening of exclusively selected Jordan wines and elevated traditional bar bites, including smoky cognac wings and lobster rolls. Limited tickets are available. $180

Rolling Stone Live: Los Angeles

In partnership with Coinbase, Rolling Stone returns for its annual Super Bowl event with a headline performance by The Kid Laroi, who will be supported by acts Kaskade, Iann Dior and Lil Jon. The live media experience will go down at Academy LA. $750

Super Bowl LVI The Players Tailgate

Hosted by Guy Fieri, there’s a reason why this has earned the reputation as the best Super Bowl pre-game experience. Gourmet dishes will be prepared by a number of celebrity chefs, such as Aaron May, Todd English, Michael Voltaggio and Top Chef winner Brooke Williamson, and there will be music from DJ Irie and a number of pro athletes and celebrity guests including Cindy Prado. $875

Where to Watch the Game

Bar Toscana

Beginning at 3 p.m., the Brentwood joint welcomes guests to watch the Super Bowl, though you have the option to take out their game day specials too. Whether you decide to set up at Bar Toscana or pick up food to bring home, you can enjoy specials like the half jidori fried chicken or the Italian sausage sandwich. They also will serve up the SoFi Margarita in honor of the L.A. stadium.

The beloved West Hollywood rooftop is set for the Super Bowl with a number of live screens throughout the space, a special game day menu and a DJ. Doors open at noon and limited group bookings are available.

Freehand

The downtown L.A. hotel rooftop deck has you covered from pre-game to final touchdown. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Freehand’s Broken Shaker will host a tropical tailgate with a performance by DJ Short Shorts, with a livestream of the Super Bowl to follow.

Grandmaster Recorders

Hollywood’s new hotspot is elevating the quintessential L.A. rooftop Sunday experience for the Super Bowl. Complete with a Hollywood Hills backdrop, head to Grandmaster Recorders for numerous screens, Djs and a game day menu.

The Godfrey Hotel Hollywood

Experience the largest rooftop venue in Hollywood for the biggest game of the year. The Godfrey’s I | O Rooftop will display the Super Bowl on its 70-foot-tall projection mapping screen and will offer a number of game day specials in addition to its full sushi menu. Highlights include buffalo chicken wings, Chicago-style hot dog, lamb lollipops, baby back ribs and Wagyu burger.

Harriet’s

Experience nine screens of Super Bowl atop the 1 Hotel in West Hollywood. Harriet’s Big Game Viewing Party kicks off at 2 p.m. so that you’re well into the swing of things by the time we hit kick off and runs until 9 p.m. for a full-night celebration. $50

Hermanito

If tacos are your true love, head to Hermanito to show your devotion ahead of Valentine’s Day. For the Super Bowl, the Sawtelle eatery will have an all-you-can-eat taco bar ($45) that includes guacamole, chips, birria nachos, ceviche and street tacos (veggie, al pastor or fish). They will also be serving up some drink specials, such as a bourbon Old Fashioned, to enjoy while watching the game.

The London Bar

The London West Hollywood’ bar is ready with a special Super Bowl weekend menu. From 3 p.m. to 7p.m. on Feb. 11 to 13, guests can order pitchers of Bloody Mary and California craft beers and highlights like breakfast-style pizza, chicken wings, fried chicken bao and cheeseburger tacos.

Mama Shelter
