March celebrates Women’s History Month, and while we think that’s worth commemorating all year round, there are some special events occurring throughout the month that are particularly worth taking note of. From wine enthusiasts to cinema fans, see below how you can honor this special month.

In collaboration with the female-driven children’s book company Rebel Girls, The Peninsula is elevating their afternoon tea for Women’s History Month. From March 3 to 27 on Thursday through Sundays, each tea service will feature Rebel Girls’ newest book for guests to take home, themed menu items and pastries and portraits of the women featured in the stories on display. The Rebel Girls series has previously highlighted influential female leaders like Frida Kahlo, Ada Lovelace and Junko Tabei. $115 per person
A weekend celebrating International Women’s Day and wine? Count us in. On March 6, Santa Barbara’s Women Winemakers Celebration returns in person for an outdoor afternoon wine tasting reception at Roblar Farm in Santa Ynez, Calif. The event will showcase the winemaking talents of about 20 women winemakers from the area. What’s more, all proceeds will be donated to the Community Health Centers of the Central Coast through the Santa Barbara Vintners Foundation. Men are welcome too! 1-4 p.m., $90 per person
