The nightlife destination—set in the former space of Nightingale Plaza—breathes fresh air into the restaurant-heavy Tri-West neighborhood of West Hollywood. A partnership between Sbe and Zouk Group, the Los Angeles club is set to attract a lineup of the world’s most popular DJs and artists.
Already, Zouk has lived up to this promise with the grand opening weekend. March 15 will welcome Metroboomin, while the Friday debut will be soundtracked by DJ Politik.
Embracing extravagant glamour, former Sbe in-house designer Christian Schulz and his team at the Studio Collective transformed the 16,500-square-foot space into an Art Deco-inflected stunner. Ornate light fixtures, golden finishes and geometric flooring illuminate the club. A jade marble bar top glistens, while plush, conversation pit-like booths on the main club floor offer a sense of intimacy.
The Zouk concept originated in Singapore, where it has fostered a history as a dance music trailblazer for more than 30 years. In 2021, it made its way to Las Vegas at Resorts World Las Vegas, alongside Zouk Group’s other Vegas venues. Featured artists have included DJ heavyweights like Tiësto, Zedd, Deadmau5, DJ Snake, RL Grime and Kaskade.
With the Los Angeles location, Zouk Group’s elevated entertainment standards marry with Sbe’s City of Angels reign. The lifestyle hospitality company has fostered a reputation for buzzy restaurants, lounges and nightclubs for more than 20 years from coast to coast. Its portfolio includes Katsuya, Hyde, MXO by Wes Avila and S Bar.
Zouk Los Angeles is located at 643 N La Cienega Blvd 90069.
